[펌] AMD AHCI 드라이버를 설치 30% 향상

위 파일은 기본적으로 윈도우 xp / 2000 / 2003 용 수동설치(inf) 파일이다.
그러나 윈도우 7도 사용 가능하다. 단, smart (HDD 정보제공 ) 기능 사용이 안된다.

윈도우7 의 경우 아무리 ATI Catalyst 드라이버를 설치 하여도
기본적으로 MS사의 ahci 드라이버가 작동 된다.

MS 드라이버의 경우 안정성은 우월할지 모르나 성능은 저하된다.
AMD AHCI 드라이버를 설치하게 되면 성능이 대략 30% 정도 향상 된다.

아래 레지스트리 설정을 하면 윈도우 시작시
MS드라이버 대신 AMD AHCI 드라이버로 로드 된다.

1. Exit all Windows-based programs.
2. Click Start, type regedit in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.
3. If you receive the User Account Control dialog box, click Continue.
4. Locate and then click one of the following registry subkeys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Msahci
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\IastorV
5. In the right pane, right-click Start in the Name column, and then click Modify.

6. In the Value data box, type 0, and then click OK.
7. On the File menu, click Exit to close Registry Editor.

AHCI 드라이버가 별도로 생성된 것을 확인 할 수 있다.
이러한 설정법을 모르고 사용 한다면 아무리 좋은 컴퓨터라도
느리게 사용 할 수 밖에 없다.
